Coming Soon Exhibition 2011: Launch Night

Last night saw the launch of my first exhibition, 'Coming Soon: An Exhibition Of Fake Movie Posters', in the Watergate Theatre.

Thanks to everyone who came last night, it was amazing to finally show people the posters and  hear such great feedback. I didn't want it to be a "people stand around making speeches" type of launch but there is a large bunch of people I need to thank for helping me throughout the project.

Firstly, thanks to Mary Butler  and Niamh Finn in the Kilkenny County Council Arts Office for a million things, that can only be summed up as "making it all happen".

Thanks to Ger Cody and the staff of the Watergate Theatre for all their support. Thanks to Maria in Modern Printers. Thanks to Gary Tynan for hanging the posters. Thanks to Declan McCann, the Chamber of Commerce and the board of management in the Maltings. Thanks to the Cartoon Saloon and Devious Theatre.

Thanks to the staff of Mugshot cafe for keeping me fueled with tea over the past few months.

'Coming Soon: An Exhibition Of Fake Movie Posters' is now showing in the Watergate Theatre, admission to the exhibition is completely free and runs until January 13th. 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
